Yoni Salem is a multifamily specialist at Marcus & Millichap’s Encino, California office. He represents sellers and buyers of investment properties throughout Los Angeles County. After just his first year in the business, he was the recipient of the firm’s prestigious “Rising Star” award and has since accelerated his career through his continued work ethic and personal care for his clients. Yoni is an Associate with The Jeff Louks Group, which is consistently ranked as one of the top-producing teams in Southern California. The Jeff Louks Group has successfully closed approximately 1,000 transactions valued at more than $3 billion during its 30+ year track record servicing clients.
Prior to becoming an agent with Marcus & Millichap, Yoni worked at several notable real estate firms — Colony Capital, Barings, CGI Strategies, and Merrill Lynch investment banking. He primarily focused on acquisitions where he underwrote nearly $3 billion of transactions across all property types within the Western United States. Additional duties included asset management, construction management, dispositions, and leasing. Yoni’s unique background on the principal side of the business allows him to advise clients on various buy, hold, and sell strategies tailored to each individual’s circumstances and investment goals. Furthermore, his well-rounded experience allows him to offer his clients value in other aspects of the business including leasing, development and rehab work, property management, and financing.
Yoni graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Yoni is fluent in English and Hebrew and conversational in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
